Impactful Effects: Exposure can cause severe irritation to the skin, eyes, and respiratory system, potentially resulting in coughing, intense burning sensations, and in some cases, vomiting.
Compatibility Information: Specifically designed for use with .43 caliber markers and are intended for non-lethal defense against threats.

These "Pepper Balls" use PAVA (Pelargonic Acid Vanillylamide) pepper powder as the irritant — a synthetic capsaicin compound similar to OC (oleoresin capsicum) pepper spray. Effects on contact:

Eyes: Intense burning sensation
Skin: Severe irritation and burning
Respiratory: Coughing uncontrollably
Other: Can cause vomiting in some cases

The PAVA cloud disperses on impact, so a direct hit isn't required — striking near the target is enough to be effective however I recommend that if you are using this against an assailant, fire at least 3 fast shots aiming that the upper chest if possible.. I also recommend having a dedicated magazine with 4 of these loaded at the top of the magazine, followed by as many aluminum or hard rubber balls. Customers note the effects can last several minutes even from a proximity hit.
